A 5yo gelding, Grantstown Rebel, by Ballyard Prince, ex Grantstown Lady, achieved top price of the performance ponies at Cavan sale last week. Bred by John Widger, this son of Ballyard Prince made €7,600. The buyer commented to the press, ''He is an extremely nice pony, and even though he was a lot of money, there are not many of his type about.''
